Background:

     

The Accounting programme, which was officially offered in 1985, is designed to produce ethical, professional and competent graduates with an adequate skill set in accounting that meets the requirement of the world of work. The programme is widely recognized by local and international institutions.

  • Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) through Schedule 1, Accounting Act 1967
  • Malaysian Institute of Public Accountants (MICPA)

 

International institutions:

  • Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA)
  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)
  • Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW)
  • Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA-ANZ)
  • Certified Public Accountants (CPA) (Australia)
