Master by Research

Master of Science		MASTER OF SCIENCE Overview:       The Master of Science is a graduate program by research which is well recognized at both national and international levels. There are eleven (11) fields offered in the Master of Science (MSc) program which are Economics Business Economics Tourism Hospitality Management Marketing Human Resource Management Corporate Leadership Business Law Corporate Leadership Finance  Accounting   Candidates are required to register for several courses and conduct an independent research. A student pursuing a MSc may complete the program between a minimum period of one year and a maximum period of three years. Applicant are required to provide a brief outline of their proposed research to ensure that their research interests match the expertise of faculty members. Upon enrolment, each student will be assigned with an academic advisor, who will guide them in organizing their studies. Curriculum Structure   The MSc program consist of course work, seminar, thesis and viva voce (thesis examination). Candidates are required to complete 6 credit hours of coursework consisting of a compulsory research methodology course (3 credits) and an elective course (3 credits). Students are required to register for a seminar (1 credit) course which is offered every semester. Students must present and pass the viva voce (thesis examination). More information on list of courses, CLICK HERE   Entry Requirements   Field of Study : Finance The candidate should possess a: Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field with a minimum CGPA of 3.000 or; Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification with a CGPA between 2.750 -2.999 and a minimum of 1 year working experience in a relevant field; or Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent qualification with a CGPA between 2.500 -2.749 and a minimum of 5 years working experience in a relevant field.
