Prof. Dr. Rozanah Ab. Rahman

Rozanah Ab. Rahman is a Professor of Law at School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Currently, she serves as the Deputy Dean (Industry and Community Relations) at the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. In addition to her academic leadership, she is a distinguished Board Member of the Institute of Strategic & International Studies Malaysia. She sits on the Senate of UPM and is a member of the University Ethics Committee. She graduated with Bachelor and Master Degrees in Law and obtained her Ph.D in Law from the International Islamic University, Malaysia. She also obtained her professional qualification as an Advocate and Solicitor of Malaya and as a Certified Professional Trainer from the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM). She was the Legal Advisor for Universiti Putra Malaysia (2011-2017) and held the member (ex-officio) positions in the University Board and Senate.

Her areas of interest and specialisation are the Industrial Safety (OSH) Law, Employment Law and Business Law. She is internationally and locally recognized, including her appointment as the Visiting Associate Professor to the Faculty of Business Management, Tashkent-State-Technical-University, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Visiting Fellow to the Alliance Manchester Business School (University of Manchester, United Kingdom), Lincoln International Business School (University of Lincoln, United Kingdom) and UWA Business School (University of Western Australia).

She carried out research and consultancy activities with public and private agencies, including the International Labour Organization (ILO) Geneva, the World Bank Group, the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (Ministry of Human Resources Malaysia), National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH Malaysia), Legal Affairs Division (Prime Minister Department), the National Valuation Institute (INSPEN)(Ministry of Finance Malaysia). Her outstanding achievements were being the recipient of the Honorary Award of Darjah Kebesaran Setia Mahkota Selangor (S.M.S.) from the Selangor State Ruler, and the University Academic Award (Best Teaching Award).

Prof. Dr. Ho Jo Ann

Jo Ann Ho is a Professor at the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia, and holds a Ph.D from Cardiff Business School, Cardiff University. Her research interests include business ethics, corporate social responsibility and organizational behavior. She has published extensively in leading academic journals and has authored several books.

Jo Ann has received prestigious research grants, including those from the Sumitomo Foundation and the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. As a case writer, she has also led and contributed to numerous case study development projects funded by institutions such as the Asian Institute of Finance (AIF), PETRONAS Leadership Centre, Centre for Entrepreneur Development and Research (CEDAR) and Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM).

Additionally, Jo Ann serves on editorial boards for several journals, including the Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, Business Ethics, the Environment and Responsibility, International Journal of Economics & Management, Asian Journal of Case Research and Social Responsibility Journal. Jo Ann frequently shares her expertise as a speaker at international conferences and academic forums, engaging a global audience with her insights.

Prof. Dr. Sridar Ramachandran

Sridar Ramachandran is a Professor in the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. He specialised in sustainability with an emphasis in the areas of responsible tourism and marketing at the Universiti Putra Malaysia’s School of Business and Economics. Sridar trained in parks and recreation management, holds BSc (Hons) and MBA degrees from Universiti Putra Malaysia, and holds a doctorate (PhD) in tourism and marketing studies from the University of Strathclyde.

Sridar has vast experience supervising and teaching in the areas of tourism, hospitality, recreation, marketing and management both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.He held the Head of Accreditation position for the UPM School of Business and Economics spearheading the EQUIS and AACSB accreditations. He also holds a professional certification as an Action Learning coach conferred by the World Institute of Action Learning.

Sridar’s research contributions include publications of articles in cited and indexed international journals as well as international conferences. Leadership in sustainability, tourism marketing, collaborative management in responsible tourism, social responsibility in tourism and research philosophy are his areas of research interest, publication and supervision. Sridar has worked as a researcher and consultant and has completed several public and private funded projects by key agencies including the Malaysian Tourism Promotion Board, Department of Forestry Peninsular Malaysia and the Ministry of Higher Education.

Dahlia Zawawi Yusof is an Associate Professor in the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. She obtained her BSc. degree with a double major in Economics and Management at University of Missouri-Columbia, United States of America in 1997. In 2007 she completed her Ph.D. at University of Reading, United Kingdom for a thesis on cross-cultural values and emotions. Her current research interests are in the fields of people’s behaviors in organizations. Apart from her academic responsibilities, she is also serving as the Director of Centre for Corporate Strategy and Relations, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

Academically, she has published several original books, chapters in books, cases, and journal articles. Being a life member of the Case Writers’ Association of Malaysia (CWAM), she is also active in supervising students and producing case studies particularly for the industries. She is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Asian Journal of Case Research (AJCR), UPM.

In addition, she was involved in several consultancy projects for various organizations including Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI), Malaysian Science and Technology Information Centre (MASTIC), PETRONAS Leadership Centre (PLC), Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industries (MOA), Federal Land Development Authority (FELDA), SME Bank, Ajinomoto, Razak School of Government (RSOG), Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), Lembaga Tabung Haji (TH), and Persatuan Pengusaha Stesen Minyak Petronas Malaysia (PESAMP).

In the effort to promote knowledge sharing, she also did a range of case trainings and workshops for institutions such as Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Arshad Ayub Graduate Business School (AAGBS), National Anti-Drugs Agency (AADK), National Co-operative Movement of Malaysia (ANGKASA), Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MoHE), and Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS).

Raja Nerina Raja Yusof is an Associate Professor in the School of Business and Economics, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Her research interest is in International Business Management focusing on multinational corporations, Islamic (halal) business practices, cross-cultural management and international marketing. With regards to case writing, she is an active Exco Member of the Case Writing Association of Malaysia (CWAM) since 2011, and has contributed in the coaching of case writers and facilitation of the production of case studies by various organizations in Malaysia, including the Petronas Leadership Center, Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) and Bank Pembangunan Malaysia Berhad and Institut Koperasi Malaysia. In addition, she serves as an Associate Editor for the Asian Journal of Case Research (AJCR) and has been actively writing cases for journals and case books. Raja Nerina, along with other case writers in UPM, were involved as case writers for organizations such as CEDAR (SME Bank), Lembaga Tabung Haji Malaysia and Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT).

Siew Imm Ng is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Business and Economics, University Putra Malaysia. She has industry experience in the areas of human resource and export management with internationalizing Malaysian companies. She teaches Principles of Management, Cross Cultural Management and Business Research Methods. So far, she has graduated more than 18 PhD students. She has authored and co-authored many articles in refereed and professional journals, including Tourism Management, International Marketing Review, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, British Food Journal, Asia Pacific Journal of Marketing and Logistics, The CASE Journal and Journal of Air Transport Management.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Haslinda Hashim

Haslinda Hashim is an Associate Professor at the School of Business & Economics, University Putra Malaysia (UPM). Apart from her academic duties she is currently holding an administrative post as the Deputy Dean for (Undergraduate Studies) after serving as the Head of BBA Program for nearly two years. She obtained her PhD in Marketing from Lancaster University, United Kingdom in 2011 with a thesis on women’s consumption. Her prior academic qualifications include an MBA from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) and a BSc. degree in Agribusiness from (UPM).

She embarks in both research and case writing in the journey to build her research portfolio and contribute her academic work to society at large. She is an exco member and life member of the Case Writers Association Malaysia (CWAM). Her growing involvement in various entrepreneurial development programs at the university saw her research and case interest expand to include entrepreneurial marketing issues. Dr. Haslinda has published research articles and case studies on various platforms including academic journals and chapters in books.

She plays an active role in supervising students to produce case studies. In addition, she was also involved in case study training and consultation for private and public agencies such as Institut Koperasi Malaysia (Malaysian Cooperative Institute), Department of Safety and Health (DOSH), SME Bank, Malaysia Development Bank (BPMP) , Higher Education Leadership Academy (AKEPT) and Petronas Leadership Centre (PLC).

Assoc. Prof. Siti Rahayu Hussin

Siti Rahayu Hussin is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Business and Economics (SBE), Universiti Putra Malaysia. She has more than 25 years of experience in the university, actively engaged in teaching, research, and industry and community collaborations. Siti Rahayu specializes in marketing and entrepreneurship, mentoring students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels while incorporating innovative teaching methodologies. Her research focuses on strategic marketing, consumer behavior, tourism, entrepreneurship, and aging studies, securing over RM 1.2 million in research grants and producing numerous cited publications with a Scopus h-index of 10 and 230 citations. Siti Rahayu is also a lifetime member of the Case Writer Associations Malaysia (CWAM) and associate editor of the Asian Journal of Case Research (AJCR).

Siti Rahayu has played a pivotal role in strengthening academia-industry relations, serving as the Head of Executive Development and Industrial Linkages (EDIL) and consulting for major organizations such as KWAP, MAIWP, LKIM, Jabatan Veterinar Selangor, and Tabung Haji. She is also actively involved in curriculum development and program assessments, having contributed to multiple review committees at SBE for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She remains actively engaged in community development, supporting youth, Asnaf, women, and rural business growth through entrepreneurship projects and strategic partnerships with government agencies and private sector organizations such as QSR Group and AmBank. Currently, she serves as the Innohub Coordinator at Putra Science Park, UPM, where she plays a pivotal role in fostering innovation and entrepreneurship within the university through market validation program.

Mass Hareeza Ali is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Business and Economics (SBE), Universiti Putra Malaysia. Dr Mass served as lecturer in SBE since 1999. She hold a position as a Director, Center of Entrepreneurial Development and Graduate Marketability (CEM) of UPM from Dec 2015 untill March 2024. She obtained MBA with majoring in Human Resources Management. Completed her PhD from University of Huddersfield, United Kingdom with research interest in the area of service management, service quality, business communication and entrepreneurship.

Dr Mass was well known in campus with Service Experience Learning (SEL) with embedded ‘real experience’ activities by student and matched with related topic in the courses such as Entrepreneurship and Service Management. Dr. Mass’s research focus on services management which covered on the aspect of Banking, Tourism, Halal, and Entrepreneurship. She has received various awards for her academic and research such as Top 5 Entrepreneurial Leader -Asia Pacisic in 2022 in Barcelona, Top 3 Entreprenurship Educator Asia Pacific in 2023. She received Academic Fellowship in 2022 for Student Development Awards and also received Academic Fellowship of Vice Chancelor, Excellence & Innovative Lecturer, Excellence Employees in 2016, 2017 and 2018. She also awarded as Best Entreprenership Mentor Award 2023 by Ministry of Higher Education for her work and passion in Entrepreneurship. She lead the team of UPM and awarded The Best Practised Entrepreneurial University 2016. In 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mass won Distinguished Woman in Management at 4th Venus International Women Awards, Chennai, India - VIWA 2019. She had published various chapter in book of Service, Entrepreneurship and Global Management which had been used as main text for Entrepreneurship courses among most Malaysian Public University.

Anusuiya Subramaniam Hussin is currently a Lecturer at the School of Business and Economics (SBE), Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is the Assistant Dean (Internationalization) and Senior Lecturer at the School of Business & Economics (SBE), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). Her research focuses on human resource development, work and organizational psychology, leadership, and management. She serves as an Associate Editor for BMC Health Services Research (WOS indexed) and the Asian Journal of Case Research (AJCR). She received the Best Paper Award for her case study, "Building Organizational Resilience: Tackling Workforce Challenges in the Oil and Gas Sector," at the Global Conference of Business and Economic Research 2024 (GCBER 2024), organized by SBE UPM.
