UPM Collaborates with Stella Maris College to Enhance International Cooperation

Chennai, 19^th June 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the School of Business and Economics (SPE) is pleased to visit and hold discussions with Stella Maris College, Chennai, India to develop strategic cooperation.

The delegation from the School of Business and Economics, UPM (SPE UPM) was led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sudesh A/L Prabhakaran (Assistant Dean of Business Development) and Mr. Aidi Asyraf Suhaimi (Executive Officer) together with the Stella Maris College team namely Dr. Sr. Stella Mary K (Principal), Dr. Renuka Rajaratnam (Dean, Research and International Partnerships) and other staff were involved in the discussion.

 Among the proposed collaborations include Offshore Programmes, staff and student exchanges, joint international conferences, joint academic and research links, mobility initiatives, executive development programs and proposed MoUs. This marks an important step in strengthening academic ties and expanding educational and economic opportunities internationally.

Finally, the cooperation that is being worked on is expected to increase the reputation and impact of both institutions in the international arena as well as open up new opportunities for the development of knowledge and the sustainability of cooperation in the future.
