The School of Business and Economics (SBE), UPM proudly introduces the SBE Graduate Scholarship Programme, a prestigious initiative dedicated to supporting high-achieving postgraduate students in their academic and research journeys.
Launched with the goal of nurturing future leaders in the fields of business and economics, this scholarship programme is designed to recognise students who demonstrate not only exceptional academic performance, but also strong potential for impactful research and leadership. By providing financial assistance and institutional support, SBE aims to empower talented individuals to fully immerse themselves in their studies and contribute meaningfully to their respective disciplines.
On 11 February 2025, we are delighted to announce and celebrate the inaugural recipients of the SBE Graduate Scholarship Programme:
🔹 Mr. Barua Soura Jit – Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D)
🔹 Mr. Zhou Tejun – Master of Business Administration (MBA)
🔹 Miss Parameswary A/P P. Thiagarajan – Master of Economics
These outstanding individuals were selected based on their academic excellence, research capabilities, and leadership qualities. Their commitment to academic advancement and their drive to contribute to the world of business and economics set them apart as exemplary candidates.
At SBE UPM, we believe in developing talent that can lead, inspire, and innovate. Through the SBE Graduate Scholarship Programme, we are reinforcing our commitment to cultivating a vibrant academic community where scholars are encouraged to push boundaries, ask critical questions, and develop solutions for real-world challenges.
The scholarship recipients are not just students—they are future scholars, practitioners, and changemakers. By investing in their potential, we are helping shape the future of business, finance, economics, and entrepreneurship both locally and globally.
