The School of Business and Economics (SBE), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) had the pleasure of hosting students from the Faculty of Business Administration, The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) on 3 until 7 March 2025 as part of the Master’s Business Field Study Course Programme. This immersive programme, designed to foster cross-cultural learning and academic collaboration, officially concluded on a high note—marking the end of a meaningful and enriching academic exchange.
Over the course of the programme, students from CUHK engaged in a variety of activities that combined academic rigour with real-world exposure. Highlights included thought-provoking lectures by SBE faculty members, interactive knowledge-sharing sessions, and site visits to leading local businesses and industry partners. These experiences provided valuable insights into Malaysia’s economic landscape and business practices, while also broadening participants’ global outlook.
Equally impactful were the cultural exchange opportunities, which allowed students to connect on a deeper level with their Malaysian counterparts and experience the unique heritage, diversity, and hospitality that Malaysia has to offer. Through these engagements, participants not only deepened their understanding of business in a Southeast Asian context but also forged lasting friendships and networks beyond borders.
As this chapter comes to a close, we hope the knowledge gained and connections built during this programme will continue to inspire growth, curiosity, and cross-border collaboration. We wish all CUHK students continued success in their academic and professional pursuits—and we look forward to welcoming more opportunities for partnership in the future.
Here’s to global learning, shared growth, and lasting impact. 🌟
