Community Entrepreneurship Extension Program, Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia
Community Entrepreneurship Extension Program is a community network program (local community cluster) that was held in suburbs of Kabupaten Bogor, Provinsi Jawa Barat, Indonesia. This community network is a collaboration program between Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP), Universiti Putra Malaysia, Dinas Pemberdayaan Masyarakat dan Desa Kabupaten Bogor and Fakultas Ekonomi Universitas Pakuan, Indonesia. The program is one of the efforts by FEP to fulfil Universiti Putra Malaysia’s aspiration to make a meaningful contribution towards sustainable local community development and university involvement at international level. The program was held for five days from 22 July 2019 until 26 July 2019. Participants of the program consisted of 30 rural entrepreneurs around district of Bogor, Indonesia. The objective of the program is to transfer knowledge on product packaging and develop entrepreneurial talent through product packaging design. The impact from this program is to increase product visibility in the market among local communities, increase sales of products and improve confidence to continue business.
