  The objective of this career talk is to equip students and job seekers with practical strategies to enhance their visibility and appeal to recruiters on job portals, specifically using the JobStreet platform. Through insights shared by Ms. Shilly, an MBA alumna from Sunway Group, the session aims to provide attendees with a deeper understanding of recruiter expectations, effective profile optimization, and techniques to stand out in competitive job markets. The talk seeks to empower participants with actionable tips to maximize their job search potential on JobStreet and increase their chances of securing meaningful career opportunities.

This celebration aims to reconnect alumni, faculty, students, and industry partners to reflect on the school’s rich history and milestones. It seeks to inspire future generations by showcasing the achievements of SBE’s community and fostering a spirit of collaboration for continued success. Additionally, the event aims to strengthen relationships, celebrate shared values, and build a vision for the next 50 years of leadership and excellence in business education.

Through engaging discussions with faculty, successful alumni, and industry experts, attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how an MBA can drive career transformation, foster innovation, and create lasting impact in their lives and communities.

OBJECTIVE
PROGRAM :

  This meeting aims to discuss initiatives that enhance alumni engagement, explore opportunities for mentorship and professional development, and encourage alumni contributions to the growth of the MBA program. Additionally, the meeting seeks to gather insights and feedback from alumni to align future activities with their interests while leveraging their expertise to inspire and support current students. A key focus of the meeting is to discuss the initiative to register the Alumni MBA Club with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) Malaysia, plan next year’s activities, and decide on the formation of an ad hoc committee to work on the registration process and other essential tasks.

TITLE :   Building Bridges: Celebrating HLP Recipients and Promoting SBE to Future Scholars  
       

OBJECTIVE
PROGRAM :

  The Hi-Tea event was organized to recognize the recipients of the Federal Training Award (HLP) and foster stronger connections between current students and alumni of the School of Business and Economics (SBE). Led by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mohamed, Deputy Dean (Graduate Studies), the event provided a platform for HLP students and alumni to actively promote SBE as a destination for pursuing Master's and PhD degrees to their professional networks. This effort aims to attract more local students to join SBE, building a wider community and encouraging collaboration across students, alumni, and faculty members.
