UPM Collaborates with Shaanxi Master of Business Administration Institute, Xian Jiaotong University to Enhance International Cooperation.

China, 24 April 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the School of Business and Economics (SPE), graciously visited and held discussions with the Shaanxi Master of Business Administration Institute, Xi’an Jiaotong University to develop strategic cooperation.

The delegation from the School of Business and Economics, UPM (SPE UPM), was led by Prof. Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin (Dean of SPE) and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies), along with the team from Shaanxi Master of Business Administration Institute, Xi’an Jiaotong University, including Prof. Dr. Gao Liang (Dean), Prof. Dr. Wang Lingjun (Director of the Master Program), Prof. Dr. Wang Jing (Director of the Teaching Department), Prof. Dr. Wi Lina (Deputy Director of the Teaching Department), Prof. Dr. Li Siying (Coordinator of International Cooperation Programs), and Dr. Gu Guoxing (Escort), who were involved in the discussions.

Proposed collaborations include a Dual Degree Master of Business Administration program or a Joint Degree Master of Business Administration program, staff and student exchanges, international visits between the two universities, and joint organization of international conferences and seminars, whether face-to-face or online. These signify significant steps in strengthening academic relations and expanding educational and economic opportunities internationally.

Ultimately, the pursued cooperation aims to enhance the reputation and impact of both institutions in the international arena and create new opportunities for the development of knowledge and sustainable cooperation in the future.
