From 6 until 8 December 2024, for the 14th time, as the school with the highest number of international mobility students, the School of Business and Economics (SBE) organized Jom Masuk Kampung 14 (JMK14)—a programme that brought something truly local to life at Homestay Kg. Lonek, Negeri Sembilan. 

This year, students from China, France, Germany, Korea, Austria, Kazakhstan, Japan, Indonesia, and beyond were immersed in an authentic Malaysian village experience, creating memories to last a lifetime. Here’s what made JMK14 unforgettable: 

1. Living the Kampung Life– Staying with welcoming host families and embracing the warmth of Malaysian hospitality. 
2. Mengoca Ikan– A fan-favorite activity where students got muddy catching fish with their bare hands. 
3. Cultural Immersion– Engaging in traditional games, culinary experiences, and crafts that showcased Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage. 
4. Tree Planting– A meaningful initiative to promote sustainability while learning about forest conservation. 
5. Cultural Night– A colorful evening filled with performances, celebrating the blend of local traditions and global diversity. 

At SBE, we strive to provide not just academic excellence but also unforgettable cultural experiences that foster understanding, appreciation, and lasting connections among students from around the world.
