FUZHOU, 13 October - In a significant step towards expanding global collaboration, the School of Business and Economics (SPE), UPM, recently engaged with the School of Internet Economics and Business at Fujian University of Technology. Spearheaded by Dean, Prof. Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin and Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed, this visit highlighted Fujian University of Technology’s renowned expertise in e-commerce, AI, and cutting-edge business technologies, making it an ideal partner for SPE’s innovative approach to global business education.

Attending the discussion were Dr. Jiang Shaohua, Deputy Director of the International Office; Dr. Zhuang Weiqing, Secretary of the Party Committee; Dr. Zhang Jianzhong, Professor; Dr. Jiang Ming, Vice Dean; Dr. Bi Zhaoming, Assistant Dean; Dr. Huang Jielong, Assistant Dean; Dr. Lin Liming, Assistant Dean; and Dr. Feng Xiangjin, Teacher, all from the School of Internet Economics and Business, Fujian University of Technology.

Discussions during the visit focused on student and staff exchanges, mobility programs, and the signing of an MoU. Both institutions are keen to collaborate in areas such as AI, e-commerce, and new technology development, further strengthening academic and research excellence.
