Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honour society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition, for a business student in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

The establishment of Beta Gamma Sigma as an honorary academic association recognized by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) aims to acknowledge outstanding students in the field of business in institutions accredited by AACSB.

The society grants admission to the top 10 percent of the undergraduate class, the top 20 percent of graduate students and all doctoral students that have successfully defended their dissertation at an AACSB accredited business school. AACSB accredits just 5% of business schools worldwide assuring that BGS members belong to an organization synonymous with the highest standards of academic excellence.

There are more than 600 chapters at colleges and universities accredited by AACSB International worldwide. The establishment of the UPM Chapter of BGS, is perfect with our success in attaining the prestigious AACSB in 2012 and re- accredited in 2017.
