"UPM Collaborates with the National University of Uzbekistan to Enhance International Cooperation"

Uzbekistan, March 4, 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the School of Business and Economics (SPE), has cordially visited and engaged in discussions with the National University of Uzbekistan to develop strategic cooperation.

The delegation from the School of Business and Economics, UPM (SPE UPM), was represented by Prof. Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin (Dean of SPE) and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Postgraduate Studies), along with Prof. Dr. Raima Kh. Shirinova, Vice Rector (International Relations), Prof. Dr. Umarov Abduvakhob Tursunovich, Dean (Faculty of Economics), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rejapov Khayrillo Khikmatullaevich, Head of Department (Finance and Credit), and Dr. Hayot Saydaliev (Accompanying Officer), and other delegates were involved in the discussions.

Proposed collaborations include joint research, publishing research outcomes in leading journals, staff and student exchanges, and mobility initiatives. This marks a significant step in strengthening academic relations and expanding international education and economic opportunities.

The sought collaboration is expected to enhance the reputation and impact of both institutions on the international stage, opening new possibilities for the development of knowledge and sustainable cooperation in the future.
