"UPM and M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Collaborate to Enhance International Cooperation"

SERDANG, 16^th April 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) through the School of Business and Economics (SPE) held an online meeting with M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kazakhstan.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies, SPE) and participating in the meeting were Kurmangaly Sarykulov (Acting Vice Rector of Academic Affairs) and Saltanat Dzhunusbekova (Acting Vice Rector of Strategic Development and Internationalization) as well as other representatives from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University, Kazakhstan.

The meeting, which lasted for one (1) hour, discussed matters regarding potential cooperation and collaboration between the two institutions.

Among the matters related to collaboration that were discussed was the offering of a Joint Degree Program in the field of Master by Research. Both institutions have expressed interest and commitment in offering the program.

This meeting is the starting point in UPM's efforts to expand its global reach and provide students with diverse learning opportunities and reflects the determination to build a close and potentially beneficial relationship for both institutions in the fields of education and research.
