"UPM and M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University Collaborate to Enhance International Cooperation"

Uzbekistan, March 4, 2024 - Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), through the School of Business and Economics (SPE), has engaged in a historic collaborative discussion with M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University to develop strategic cooperation in the fields of education and research.

The delegation from the School of Business and Economics, UPM (SPE UPM), was represented by Prof. Dr. Bany Ariffin Amin Noordin (Dean of SPE) and Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Anuar Shah Bali Mahomed (Deputy Dean of Graduate Studies), along with Dr. Marat Seidakhmetov (Dean of the School of Management and Business), Dr. Ainura Aitymbetova (Head of the Finance Department), Prof. Dr. Gulmira Issayeva (Professor of the Finance Department), Dr. Galimzhan Pazilov (Senior Lecturer in the Finance Department), all actively participating in the discussions.

The proposed collaborations include joint research, publication of research findings in leading journals, Undergraduate and Postgraduate degree programs, staff and student exchange, as well as mobility initiatives. This discussion reflects the shared desire of both universities to enhance the quality of education and research, further solidifying their positions on the global stage.

With a commitment to leveraging each other's strengths, it is hoped that this collaboration will lead to greater success in the fields of education and research, opening new opportunities for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among students and staff of both institutions.
