The schedule commenced at 10:00 a.m. with an introduction to the enthusiastic team at Amari KL, including the General Manager, Ms. Susan Anthony; the Director of Human Resources, Mr. Edward Chryslo Abraham; the Manager for Learning and Development,  Ms. Logini Sulochona Annamalai, and the Front Office Manager, Mr. Fitri Ambros. Ms. Logini, in addition to sharing details about the various Amari Hotel branches established over the years, graciously delved into the history of the founder and the Italthai company. Sustainability emerged as a key topic of discussion. Dato’ Zuraidah Atan addressed the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG), Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria, and Environmental, Social, and Economic (EES) considerations, highlighting their significance for the future generations. Mr. Edward shed light on the challenges faced by most hoteliers and emphasized the hotel's own sustainability practices.

Following these insightful discussions, the participants were treated to refreshments before embarking on a tour of the hotel's facilities, led by Front Office Manager Mr. Fitri. During this tour, participants were informed about the ongoing eco-friendly initiatives aimed at promoting responsible tourism. Notable among these initiatives were motion sensors installed in the hotel rooms, which automatically turn off all electricity if no motion is detected.

To conclude this enriching visit, the Graduate Student Club (GSC) organized a modest gift exchange ceremony at the entrance of Amari Kuala Lumpur, offering participants some delightful photo opportunities
