Serdang, 29 August - Hokkaido Study Tour (HST) 2018 was organised in collaboration with Malaysian Society of Agricultural Engineers (MSAE) from 29 July until 3 August 2018 in Sapporo, Hokkaido. The delegation tour consisted of 14 people which included lecturers from the Faculty of Economics and Management (FEP) and Faculty of Engineering (FK). The agenda is to visit two Muslim Communities in Hokkaido namely Sapporo and Otaru. A forum by Hokkaido Islamic Society (HIS) entitled “Being a Muslim in Hokkaido” was held in Faculty of Engineering, Hokkaido University on the 1 August 2018. During this forum, the Muslim students from various countries such as Malaysia, Turkey, Indonesia and Bangladesh discussed and exchanged views with the delegations on Muslims issues in Japan. At the end of the forum, the group donated four Qurans with some collection of cash to Sapporo Masjid (under Sapporo Masjid Project) and Al-Noor Masjid in Otaru.
