Be$mart Program at FEP, UPM

For the third year (since launched on 14^th December 2016), the Be$mart program has been successfully implemented at the Faculty of Economics and Management, Universiti Putra Malaysia. This year, a comprehensive two-day session have been held for 2 series. Each series is divided into 2 groups. The first series was held from 23 - 24 February 2019 and the second on 2-3 March 2019. A total of 202 final year students took part in the program.

Be facilitated and fully-financed by CIMB Foundation and training partner, GEM Systems Sdn. Bhd., Be$mart’s main objective is to improve youth’s financial literacy by equipping them with the right knowledge and skills to manage their finances well for every stage of life. This program is a comprehensive two-day session that utilises a mixture of lecturer, simulations and games meant to deliver an end-to-end view of financial management in a fun an interactive way. It’s covering a wide range of topics such as financial and debt management, property and unit trust investment and budget planning.
