Overview of CEIPS
The Center For Research Excellence In Economic Integration And Policy Studies (CEIPS) was established in early 2006 as a focal point to produce recognized research output for economics domain in national or international level. This center is meant for economists, where this centre has many expertise and experience academician in multidisciplinary areas that able to equip researchers, academician and practitioners with knowledge and skills for the ever-challenging economic management.
This center gathered all the staffs that have strong research back ground in the areas of economics and most of them have published an articles in recognized international and national journals, books publishing, proceedings, chapter in books and involved in research for long time.
The Centre's Mission
With increasing competition in the global market, the economy will have to further strengthen its competitiveness and venture into new growth areas. Thus, the objectives of this center are:
• Promote individual and group research by scholars at FEP and beyond (Korean Institute of Economic Policy, Institute
of Developing Economies of Japan, Development Research Center of China and other research institutions in ASEAN
region)
• Strengthen undergraduate and post-graduate studies in open macroeconomic issues
• Conduct seminars, workshops and conferences for academicians and policy makers
